Reality Sports 0 - 1 Saxon

With a tremendous start to the First team's campaign, the main focus of the match today was the 3 points. With this in mind the object was to come out and win.

Saxon stood up pretty well to the challenge that was presented to them. The majority of the football wasn't pretty but on occasions Saxon remembered that they could play some decent moves and showed their stuff on the pitch.

The substitute Nathan Heycock scored an excellent goal in the 70th minute driving from midfield and hammering the ball into the bottom corner.

Some impressive performances on the pitch were seen today, defense was solid and keeper Aidy is proving to be an excellent find. But it was Stu Horton who came up with the goods again, a nasty cut to the head during the game didn't stop him playing brilliantly (off to A&E with you Stui!).

Saxon had many chances but that second goal kept elluding them - even when an extra 10 minutes of added time was played! Another fantastic result for the Saxon boys.

Another 3 points on the board, 3 wins in three. Lets not get carried away but I think Saxon are top of the league!!!

Man of the Match - Stu Horton (excellent)

Goal - Nathan Heycock

Showboating award - Dave Ward...nutmegs from a back heel facing the opposite direction, great stuff.
